Brothers Express, Inc. was founded in 1979 as a local cartage company. Parrish Carriage was founded in 1983 as a truckload contract carrier. Both companies were established by Donald R. Parrish, Jr. and Stanford A. Parrish.
In 1991, Samuel J. Rykard was brought in to head up the trucking operation. In 1994, Parrish Carriage was purchased by Brothers Express, Inc.
Our business philosophy is one of measured growth by maintaining a harmony between expansion and service capability. Our primary pursuit is service excellence at competitive rates.
We operate from modern terminals in Indianapolis, IN and Ft. Wayne, IN located closed to the interstate. We operate approximately 50 units and 75 trailers.
We maintain a safe environment for both our drivers well being and the transportation of our customer’s goods. Our claim prevention programs and safety programs will continue to keep Brothers Express, Inc. at the top of our industry.
We are large enough to serve effectively and efficiently but small enough to be flexible in tailoring our services to each customer’s individual needs and desires.
